The tensile load tests performed on the foundation micropiles are aimed at verifying the mechanical characteristics and the extent of the yields. The test load is normally equal to 1.5 times the design load. The main difficulty of the test is the realization of suitable contrast systems in order to insert the hydraulic cylinders between them and the pole. The load is applied by means of hydraulic cylinders connected to an hydraulic unit with a manometer for measuring the applied force. The measurements of the micropile slippage are carried out with centesimal comparators appropriately bound to bearing beams
