Courses for welding license
Tecno Piemonte supports customers in the certification for the achievement of welding licenses. The qualification of the welders takes place with reference to a fully specified welding procedure (WPS) according to UNI EN ISO 15609.
The qualification of the welder (license) is intended to verify the skill and or dexterity of the operator and to qualify it accordingly, according to the validity fields provided by the standard to which reference was made.
What does the welder qualify for (license)?
Inspection by our inspector at the company to verify the working manual of the welder. During the inspection the welder must perform a sample joint following the indications given by the WPS (technical welding procedure) of the company in which it is reported:
the type of joint (head-head or angle)
the welding position
the thicknesses and diameters of the welded joint
electrical parameters of current and volts.
The qualification of welders can be performed with reference to the following regulations:
UNI EN ISO 9606-1 – metallic materials
UNI EN ISO 9606-2 – aluminum and its alloys
UNI EN ISO 9606-3 – copper and its alloys
UNI EN ISO 9606-4 – nickel and its alloys
