OBJECTIVES
Basic training on the method of visual inspection of welds, in accordance with the requirements
of EN 1090-2.
PROGRAMME
 Inspections according to EN 1090-2, par. 12.4.
 The visual inspection procedure according to ISO 17637 (which replaces EN 970).
 The acceptability of the inspection according to ISO 5817 (levels D, C, B, B+).
 Gauges and tools for carrying out the visual inspection.
 CE marking according to the EN 1090 standard, training welding
coordinators, qualification of welding procedures
 Defects detectable by visual inspection of welded joints.
 Practical exercise
 Final test.
Teachers
The course will be delivered by teachers with significant experience in the certification and
testing of structural metal products.
The teaching material includes a handout on the topics covered. Participants will receive
a certificate of participation.
The course includes a test on the subjects covered.
The course is 8 hours long, from 9 am to 6 pm on the days indicated on the cover.
Participants register 15 minutes before the start of the course.
